Corey Simon, DPT, PhD has joined the Duke School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Doctor of Physical Therapy Division. Dr. Simon is committed to maintaining physical function and quality of life among older adults suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain conditions. His current work focuses on improving clinical assessment of geriatric low back pain through the development of real-time movement-evoked pain measures. Dr. Simon is also investigating chronic pain phenotypes among older adults with the goal of streamlining intervention.
