Valerie Jooste

Valerie Jooste currently works at Registre Bourguignon des Cancers Digestifs (Digestive Cancer Registry of Burgundy), attached to the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Dijon, the Institut National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale (INSERM, UMR 1231) and the University of Bourgogne Franche Comte. Valerie does research in biostatistics in Epidemiology. Current research project: Time-to-cure. Statistical cure is defined as the absence of mortality related to cancer. Estimating time to statistical cure helps improve access to credit and insurance for cancer survivors.
