Highly Stable Fibrous Solid-State Ag/AgCl Reference Electrode

摘要
The stability of reference electrode (RE) is crucial for the wearable electrochemical biosensors, which is however barely investigated in previous work. In this paper, we reported the fabrication of fibrous solid-state Ag/AgCl RE with a facile electrochemical deposition process and following sintering, which could effectively improve the stability of the RE over long time and against mechanical deformation. Integrated with the fibrous ion sensing electrodes on a piece of gauze, the fibrous Ag/AgCl RE rendered the real-time analysis of the ion concentrations in artificial urine.
