Turning Up the Heat: Oncolytic Virus MEM-288 Induces Anti-Tumoral Immune Response in Pre-Clinical Models of High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (190)
GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY(2023)
摘要
For most patients with high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), trials evaluating single-agent checkpoint inhibitors have yielded disappointing results. Novel immunotherapy approaches aim to transform the “cold” HGSOC tumor microenvironment to “hot” by exposing tumor antigens and recruiting immune cells to induce an effective antitumoral immune response. Using preclinical models of HGSOC, we evaluated the antitumor and immune stimulatory effects of an oncolytic adenovirus, MEM-288. This conditionally replicative virus encodes IFN-β and a modified membrane-stable CD40L.
