Supplementary Figure S1: (A) Co-incubation of 10nM SOX9 siRNA with increasing concentrations of doxorubicin increased anti-cancer effects in U-CH1 and CH22 cell lines as determined by the MTT assay. (B) As shown in the MTT assay, co-incubation of 10nM of SOX9 siRNA with increasing concentrations of cisplatin exhibited a slight positive influence on anti-cancer effects in U-CH1 and CH22 cell lines; Supplementary Figure S2: Model for targeting SOX9 to regulate cell proliferation, apoptosis and cell cycle in chordoma. Inhibition of SOX9 by RNAi had the following effects: reduced cell proliferation and migration; induced apoptosis and cell cycle arrest; and a decreased presence of cancer stem cell markers.
