摘要
Background: Breast or axillary metastases from epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC) are an uncommon presentation of ovarian malignancy, accounting for not more than 0.6% of all breast or axillary masses. The clinical and imaging presentations are as varied as the histopathologic patterns and can mimic both benign and malignant breast lesions, without pathognomonic features. Differential diagnosis is of pivotal importance in order to select the most appropriate treatment and avoid unnecessary surgical procedures.
