On the Loaded Fabry-Perot Cavity with Finite Aperture

The instrument function of the loaded Fabry-Perot cavity is analysed by a ray optical theory which takes the limited aperture of the cavity into account [6–9]. For the loaded Fabry-Perot cavity close to critical pumping and in the paraxial operation, the aperture-dependent theory shows a considerable decrease in the instrumental width compared to that given by the Airy formula.
