A Multi-Frequency Phase Difference Estimation Algorithm with Time-Frequency Analysis

Phase difference estimation is to estimate the phase difference between different channels of the system under test, which is widely used in distance estimation, phase calibration and other fields. This work proposes a modified three-parameter sine fitting algorithm by introducing time-frequency analysis, which can use the single signal to simultaneously test the phase difference of multiple frequency points in the entire frequency band of the system, and effectively avoid the problem of phase wrapping. In addition, this work conducts a simulation analysis of the proposed algorithm, which verifies its ability of phase difference estimation.
