Octagonal Prism-Based Wireless Charging Container with Multiple Folded Coils for Even Magnetic Flux Distribution Inside

摘要
The optimized folded coil designs for octagonal prism-based wireless charging containers have been verified to effectively enhance the magnetic field distribution inside the chambers as compared to the conventional designs. This paper further improves the performance by increasing the numbers of coil folds from single to multiple. Experimental results showcase that the Coefficient of Variation (CoV) of the magnetic flux density inside the chamber is enhanced about 14% by adopting the proposed method with the optimal number of folds (i.e., n=7), as compared to the optimized single fold designs with folded ratio of 72.5%.
