Eduardo Agosin

Eduardo Agosín received the B.Sc. degree from Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, in 1979 and the Ph.D. degree from the Institut National Agronomique, Paris, France, in 1985. He is currently a Professor of biotechnology with the College of Engineering, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago, Chile. Over the past few years, he has worked on the modeling, automation, and scale up of solid substrate cultivation, metabolic engineering of industrial microorganisms, and bioprocess optimization. His main research interests are quantitative microbial physiology and process biotechnology.
