Hello, I am a young Gastroenterologist interested in Microscopic Colitis (MC), IBD and other conditions with chronic diarrhea. My research is finding new biomarkers for BAM like FGF19 and Bile Acids in Stool. I am also working on finding another biomarker for disease activity in MC. 1) My methods are to find the diagnostic accuracy of FGF19 and total free fecal bile acids (TFFBA) for BAM by ELIZA 2) To find if Eosinophil protein x (EPX) can be used as a biomarker for MC or other chronic diarrhea conditions.
