个人简介
My main area of work is experimental high energy physics. I am a member of both the H1 (since 1992) and the ALICE (since 2001) Collaborations. H1 has been taking data for 12 years. H1 studies the structure of the proton using electrons and positrons to probe it. I have specialized in the structure of the proton at low x and I am very interested in high density phenomena in QCD. This interest led me to join ALICE which is currently under construction and will start data taking in 2007. There we will try to create a new state of very dense matter known as QGP (a plasma of quarks and gluons) and study the phase transition between this state and normal nuclear matter.
