Johanna M. Kraus currently works at the Columbia Environmental Research Center, United States Geological Survey as a Research Ecologist. She studies freshwater food webs, connectivity of freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems and the effects of ecological stressors such as contaminants on resource linkages among habitats. Dr. Kraus works with land and resource managers to shape research needed to make scientifically informed decisions in streams, rivers and wetlands.
