Pol Bernard Gossiaux

Pol Bernard Gossiaux was born in Belgium in 1967. He received the Ph.D. degree in theoretical nuclear physics from the University of Liege, Liege, Belgium, in 1993. From 1993 till 1997, he held Postdoctoral positions with the University of Nantes, Nantes, France, with the Max Planck Institut for Nuclear Physics, Heidelberg, Germany, and with the Michigan State University, East Lansing. He is currently Full Professor with the Ecole des Mines de Nantes, working with the SUBATECH laboratory of the high energy theory group. He has taught electromagnetism for 10 years. His main research interests include the physics of heavy ion collisions and the quark–gluon plasma, as well as physics modeling in general.
