My research interests are in the development and application of simulation, optimization and analytics techniques to real-world problems arising in areas such as healthcare, manufacturing, economics, sports, music, and forensics. In particular, I am interested in non-standard problems that possess features such as expensive evaluations, uncertainty, (dynamic) constraints, and multiple objectives. Most of my research is interdisciplinary and jointly with external (industrial) partners. To conduct my research I have received funding primarily from Innovate UK, EPSRC, and industrial partners.
