Assistant professor on urban ecosystem services and nature-based solutions at the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Leiden University. Topics of focus include urban health (physical activity, mental health), urban cooling and urban biodiversity. I have worked on spatial modelling of ecosystem services and ecosystem accounting at the Natural Capital Project (Stanford University), Wageningen University, Statistics Netherlands and RIVM (National Institute of Public Health and Environment).
