I am an SAO Astronomer at the Center for Astrophysics studying exoplanets and their host stars. My interests include the detection and characterization of sub-Neptunes and super-Earths, and the study of young planets (both big and small). We use the precise masses, radii, and atmospheric compositions of small planets to understand the processes by which they form, and the properties of young planets to study the physical and orbital evolution of planetary systems. I use transit and radial velocity observations in my own research and I work as part of the TESS Science Office to help organize the TESS Follow-up Observing Program, a worldwide collaboration of hundreds of astronomers working on TESS discoveries.
