Adrian A. Harpold received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA, in 2003 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, in 2010. He was a Postdoctoral researcher with the University of Colorado and the University of Arizona. He is currently an Associate Professor of Mountain Ecohydrology with the University of Nevada, Reno, NY, USA. He is interested in understanding the fate and transport of water, energy, carbon, and biogeochemical solutes at the landscape scale through improved understanding of ecohydrological processes. His research threads between basic and applied science.
