Yanping Li

Yanping Li received the B.S. degree in atmospheric physics from Sun Yat-sen University, China, the M.Phil., Ph.D. degrees in atmosphere, ocean and climate dynamics from the Department of Geology and Geophyics, Yale University, USA. Now she is a Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Her projects include the examination of the changing agro-climatic conditions, the feedback of land-surface change to regional weather or hydrological-related extremes using continental scale cloud-resolving coupled atmosphere-land surface-hydrology modeling system, as well as crop-climate-soil moisture interactions and its impact on local heatwaves.
