Sang Joon Kim

Sang Joon Kim (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2001, and the master’s degree in applied mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in engineering science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. From 2001 to 2005, he worked at Xeline Company, Ltd., as a Senior Researcher. Since 2009, he has been a Research Staff Member of the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology. His current research interests include near-field communication, multi-user wireless systems from information theory, and coding theory perspective.
